Admission to Abseil Heights is quick, compassionate, and straightforward. During your initial call, one of our representatives will answer your admission questions and what to expect upon arrival. If required, we can enact immediate support to prevent self-harm or suicidal behaviors. We allow admission 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

When you’re ready, a licensed therapist will give you a personal mental health assessment. Your honest answers will help us understand how to treat you best. They will ask about

  • Your present mental state
  • Known diagnoses and medical history
  • Your family history
  • Alcohol or drug use
  • Triggers that adversely affect your mental health
  • Current medicines and allergies

Personal Items

We may also ask for medical documents. If you do not have these available, we may request your records from your healthcare provider, therapist, or previous treatment facility. We will only do this with your permission. We follow strict patient confidentiality practices with all of your information. If appropriate, a clinician may also meet with a family member to help us assess your current mental state.

We take your safety seriously and will inspect your luggage for unauthorized items during intake. Once your belongings are approved, we’ll show you to your room and help you settle in. Once rested, a clinician gives you a full tour and reviews your personal care plan with you.
